This is a walkway that leads to the Student Services Building.
It is filled with trees and bushes.

that are providing shade and beauty.

People go to the Student Services Building to get help about many things that pertain to school. It is a big building and has a lot of wide, large, and open windows for people to see the plants and trees that surround the building. The garden in front and around this building has the best environment, soothing feel, and therapeutic attraction. People are constantly coming and going from this building and it would make sense that there would be a soothing garden surrounding it. Many people can get a lot of work done here and still have a lovely scenery in front of them.

There are two different ways to enjoy the garden: inside on very comfy couches or benches and tables outside. Both are ideal ways of encountering the garden. But the best choice is to be outside and getting the chance to smell the aromas that the plants exude.

There are different kinds of trees that are as tall or close to the size of the building and they also have bushes that go alongside the side walk to the building. Not only are these plants here, but there are also herb gardens that are maintained by students and faculty. Not only is it beautiful to look at, but the fact that these very green plants are here show that a lot of people put in a lot of hard work to keep it the way it is. Most of the plants on campus are not native to Arizona, but since there are people willing to work for beauty, other people are now able to enjoy it as well.

This place provides a lot of shade, inside and outside. This soothing garden has creatures that reside in the vegetation here. Birds and other little critters like to stay here because it provides them with open land for them to roam and because of all the maintenance the plants get, the animals feel more comfortable coming near people and that is something that is calming and therapeutic.

Computing Commons

Computing Commons

This an angular picture of the cacti beside the Computing Commons.

The Computing Commons is a place for students to go and use the technology that the Arizona State University provides. The computers are there for people to do homework and/or just use them for entertainment purposes. But what a lot of people do not know is that what is on the outside is what matters a lot more. For people that live in the desert, it is a common theme for there to be an abundance of cacti scattered all around, and in front and on the side of the Computing Commons building there are over twenty barrel cacti and some old man cactus.

This is a vase of my favorite flowers, specifically the yellow ones.
They are called daffodils or narcissus.
The other flower is a daisy and I don’t really like it, but it is still pretty.

This specific spot may not provide that much shade but it does provide a place for people to meet up and go inside the building to study. It is also a great therapeutic attraction and soothing feeling because it is has a charming aspect to it. Usually when people walk by here, they are filled with a great sensation that would calm the mind and soul. One interesting fact about the cacti in front of the Computing Commons is that it is in the shape of a mother board. Now to people that know little to nothing about computers no one would be able to know what it was and why the cacti were placed in this manner. But for the people that do know the ins and outs of a computer would be able to spot that these cacti are in the shape of a mother board.

This may not provide shade, but it allows for people to feel comfortable and puts a smile to every face that walks on by and this is why it can be considered a therapeutic attraction. Many people meet up here because people have to work or study and these little cacti start their studies with a peaceful attitude.
